ACCELERATED READER
 
Accelerated Reader is a program that helps students to dramatically increase their reading and appreciation of books. It helps children develop and track 24 key reading and thinking skills.

Children may check out books from the library that are on the Accelerated Reader list. They then take a test about that book on the Accelerated Reader Computer Program. They earn and accumulate points. They can then redeem their points for prizes.
