The program requires all clergy, employees, and volunteers to complete a Screening Process. Through the screening and training process, the parish hopes to assure parents and staff members that it is committed to identifying persons that may not be suited to work with minors or vulnerable adults.

 

All school parents are strongly encouraged to be involved in their child’s school life and volunteer in the school. In order to serve in the school, parents (and/or guardians, aunts/uncles, grandparents or other family members also interested in serving) must first be screened and cleared. The screening process may take several weeks to complete. Therefore, it is necessary for parents (and others) to complete screening as early in their child’s school life as possible. In order to remain eligible to serve each year, volunteers must update their training annually.
