An applicant must:
1.
complete an ONLINE screening form
2.
read
the Program Booklet that outlines all screening instructions
and provides the supervision and behavior guidelines each
person agrees to adhere to when serving in the school or
church;
3.
sign
an “Acknowledgement Form” that the applicant has read,
understood and will comply with all Program requirements;
4. give
a reference request form to each of three persons (not members
of your immediate family) to provide a written reference for
you and have them return it to the church;
5. participate
in a “face to face” interview;
6. attend
a “ Family of Faith” training session;
7.
submit to a
criminal background check (automatically updated every two
years for persons that remain active) and done only
after all other requirements have been completed;
8.
not serve in any capacity until they have received a written
email notification that they have been “cleared” to serve
(or a phone call or message, if the applicant does not have an
email address);
9.
keep track of
their training date and update their training each year, no
later than the last day of the month in which the anniversary
of their last training occurred.
